Gallivan Center

The Twilight Concert Series @ the Gallivan Center has been off to a great start this year. It opened a couple weeks ago with Michael Franti & Spearhead.


The crowd @ Spearhead was bigger than any I've seen @ the Gallivan (besides when the Olympics were here and the Beer Garden got out of control and there was that riot but that's another story). Check out live Franti shows @ archive.org.

I skipped the next week (folk music - nothing against it) and then had a great time when Meshell Ndegeocello came. I love her funk & soul but she was rockin' out pretty hard that night. Still good, but not my favorite. She said "This shit is where I'm at" so good for her.


Tomorrow night will feature Hillbilly fav Earl Scruggs. I'll be there...
